  The difference between microneedling and gold microneedling is whether radio frequency is added.

  Microneedling is the effect of simple cold mechanical damage to the needle body, while gold microneedling is microneedle radio frequency. In addition to the mechanical damage of the needle body, there is also the thermal damage of radio frequency, which is usually more severe than that of the microneedle.

  However, this also depends on the specific operation method. For example, some doctors do micro-needling very hard, but it is actually good for the improvement of pores, skin texture, and acne pits.

  Fractional lasers are divided into non-stripping fractional lasers and peeling fractional lasers. Non-stripping lattice lasers are available at 1540 nanometers (icon), 1550 nanometers (fraxel, sellas, Yaoxing) and 1565 nanometers (medical doctor). At present, the stripping fractional laser mainly uses 10600nm ECO2 lattice, and the equipment includes medical ultra-pulse, medical acupuncture pulse, Lu and so on.

  Whether it is a non-ablative fractional laser or a peeling fractional laser, the absorption of the laser by the water in the epidermis and dermal tissue generates heat, which causes the collagen to shrink and rebuild.

  The main difference between the non-stripping fractional laser and the peeling fractional laser is whether it is peeled off. Fractional laser peeling can peel off the upper layer of the epidermis (it can also be deeper depending on the choice of parameters, but usually only the upper layer of the papillary dermis is the deepest).

  Non-ablation fractional lasers are more likely to act on tissue through thermal curing and heating tape. Although there is thermal damage to the epidermis, it does not reach the level of exfoliation. This difference is mainly due to the degree of water absorption of the laser. The CO2 laser wavelength is 10600nm, and the water absorption coefficient is much higher than 1540, 1550, and 1565nm. Therefore, in the process of penetrating from the skin surface to the lower layer of skin, the laser will be absorbed by a large amount of water in the upper epidermis, generating strong heat, which can make the upper epidermis reach about 100, which will evaporate the water, thereby achieving the peeling effect.

  The effect of non-stripping fractional laser may be between microneedle and gold microneedle, slightly better than microneedle and worse than gold microneedle. Exfoliation CO2 fractional lasers generally work better than non-ablative fractional lasers and gold microneedling, but the associated risk of hyperpigmentation is higher.

  Microneedling usually takes 1 to 1.5 months to get a second treatment. The second treatment in 1.5-2 months is recommended to use gold microneedling and non-shedding fractional laser. If the energy given by the exfoliating fractional laser is medium to high, it is recommended to do the second treatment in 2-3 months, and the second treatment combined with grinding may take 4-6 months.
